Can you help me decide if I really want to go to college?

How do I sign up?

Signing up is quick and easy, just click the "service" tab in the menu bar to view the sign-up process. 

Why do I have to set up a consultation appointment before starting the service I want?

It is important that we meet with you first before purchasing any of our services so that we can meet you, find out more about your needs and answer any other questions you may have for us to ensure you are getting the best possible service. 

Why are your prices not posted online? Are they "that" expensive?

Our prices are not disclosed to the public because they are determined by the hourly rate. We want to be considerate of our client's needs and the caseload balance of our devoted counselors. Through our extended consultations we will be able to answer any general questions you have, even if you decide not to purchase a package or specific service. Our goal is to reach and assist any family that is in need of our services, in some capacity. 

How do the hours and prices correlate?

Hours listed refer to face-to-face contact (in person or virtual meeting). Package prices vary based on the amount of outside research and preparation that consultants incur.

I played sports in high school. But what if I want to focus on getting in the right school with a good scholarship?

WCC respects your commitment to sports, but we believe that your education and post-secondary schooling is just as important. We want to position you to succeed academically and guide you to making a sound and confident decision when reviewing and applying to colleges that best fit your educational and athletic goals. 

What if I still have questions but I don't want to wait for a consultation appointment?

The best way we can accommodate your needs and answer your questions is through a consultation appointment. In the request email to schedule an appointment, we encourage you to list those questions so that we know what to spend more time talking about during our meeting time. Any other questions that you may have forgotten to ask either in email or after an appointment can be emailed directly to info@wisecollegecounsel.com. We aim to respond to all emails within 48 hours.  

What is your cancellation/ rescheduling policy?

Clients have the right to cancel their services until midnight of the third business day after the agreement is signed. Cancellations can be made through email before midnight of the third business day.

Clients can reschedule their appointments throughout their service as long as it respects the set service hours, appointed consultant's schedule and end of school year term agreements. 

This information is also written in our signup agreement form that we read and review with you during the consultation appointment and is also signed by both parties.

What is your refund policy?

At this time, we do not permit refunds.

What are the work hours for my consultant?

Operational hours are determined by each consultant. Any questions, comments, concerns, or quick assistance can be submitted through email to your assigned consultant's email or to info@wisecollegecounsel.com. All emails should be responded to within 48 hours. 

How can I pay online?

Secure payments can be made online using all major credit or debit cards, Paypal, Square, or you can send in a personal check through the mail. Any other payment forms can be reviewed with your assigned consultant. Any promotions or specials will have a unique code associated with them. 

What if I'm not comfortable with you meeting at my house? Can we meet at a public location?

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, all of our consultations and sessions will be held virtually. We currently use Zoom and Google Hangouts. Any other form of virtual meetings, like FaceTime, need to be approved by your assigned consultant. When it is safe to return to normal, we are more than happy to meet with you at a neutral location. 

Why are there only certain services and plans available right now?

As a result of COVID-19, we shifted our priority towards meeting the most demanding needs for our clients, especially those who just received their high school diplomas. We still encourage everyone to view our current services  We look forward to releasing more services in the future!
