𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐑? Candace started her journey as a trainer from an unusual path. After graduating from Virginia Tech and working a few years, she decided to go back to school to become a Physical Therapist. While completing her Exercise Science degree from VCU she fell in love with training (and not having to go to school for another 3 years) and quickly changed her mind about Physical Therapy. During her time at VCU, Candace interned at Tuckahoe Sports and with the University of Richmond Basketball team. Her official training career began with Tuckahoe Sports and after a few years, Candace started working for ONYX Elite. She has used her knowledge since then working with athletes of various sports and levels to achieve their best. Candace has a passion for inspiring and empowering young athletes as well as seeing how their improvements in ONYX translate into their sport.
