𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐑? She began her Real Estate journey as a Resident Assistant for Ettrick Apartments. At the time, she did not realize that she was walking in her purpose.
Raised in Caroline County, VA since age 10, after her mother’s death, she graduated from Caroline High School in 2004 and started College as an Education Teacher, but later transitioned into Psychology.
Once she graduated from college, she took on the leasing assistant position for the sole purpose of earning an immediate income. It was there that she developed a passion for Real Estate and began focusing on becoming a Realtor.
After obtaining her license, she launched Wright Property Management and began managing rental properties for local investors.
Since then, she has transitioned her career to Keller Williams- Midlothian to focus primarily on serving buyers and sellers. Dennetta currently works for Fathom Realty and services the Fredericksburg and Richmond market.
The Dennetta experience is a celebrated journey of homeownership. From the first call a client makes, they know that she genuinely cares about them. Her Mental Health background has helped her appreciate the need to help her Clients make most of life’s big moments. It is a unique journey up to the end. A closing photoshoot and video testimony is a part of the occasion, enabling all homeowners to remember that moment of exhilaration for life. Dennetta is incredibly enthusiastic about helping first-time buyers and sellers.
𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐃𝐋𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒: I would highly recommend students to take the personality test like Myer’s Briggs, MBTI and begin understanding how to explore traits about themselves from a higher level.
My career transition from Education Teacher, Mental Health Crisis Responder and lastly as Realtor have all been in the helping field of others.
I truly believe I would have been a Full-Time Realtor a lot sooner than now but I was afraid to JUMP in my passion. Growing up, there weren't any entrepreneurs that I could look to for advice and I felt like I had to “ find a job, advance in my career, and work until I was ready to retire.” This is not true! Once you find a career that you are passionate about, trust me, it won’t feel like work.
But as an entrepreneur I still have to work for someone; an unlike a Boss, I call them clients.
